I've been going to Billie Jean's off and on for 35 years. I've had different operators due to some of them moving or retiring, so I can't really tell you who's the best because they're all good really. I've had everything from dreams to perms to drastic cuts and coloring. They're all very pleasant, provide you with coffee if you so desire, and their prices are most reasonable. If you haven't tried them, well, try them!
My hair is very thin, and when I had Jenny cut my hair she styled it to look thicker. I now have a great look, and don't have to do too much fussing with it. Jenny also has a great personality.
Strongly do not recommend this salon! If you are going here for the first time, PLEASE AVOID. I took an appointment for 1.15 pm initially, then I called to reschedule it to 4.45 pm. The lady who took my appointment CONFIRMED that my appointment is at 4.45 pm. But when I went to the salon at 4.40 pm, she and the hair stylist (that's what she claimed) said my appointment was booked for 4.15 pm and not 4.45 pm, hence couldn't help but cancel my appointment. I badly needed a haircut and I couldn't get one today because the lady could not even take a booking correctly! Businesses need to understand that playing with customers time is simply UNACCEPTABLE!
I have Italian, ethnic curly hair, to the point where people mistook me for African American from behind. I came in for a root touch up, olaplex bond treatment, and thermal blow dry with a haircut. The only way my stylist will cut my hair is if she straightens it, so that the ends are all cut and as healthy as possible. I have never been so happy with a color/cut combo as I am when I get it done at Billie Jeans (by Kathy, in case you were wondering who worked her magic on my dry, frizzy hair). You will be so pleased with the results if you decide to try this local treasure. The prices are incredibly reasonable, the facility is brand new and sparkling, and the service is amazing. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
