I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful my visit was today! Walked in-was greeted immediately, staff is super friendly and the place is very comfortable. My stylist Steph is amazing! She put me at ease at once. She is so friendly, very kind and truly listened to what I wanted. We talked the entire time and she really puts her heart into what she does. I like very funky, fun short pixie-like cuts and no one ever seems to get it right, but Steph made it happen and my hair is so beautiful! If you’re looking for someone who gets the details and makes sure you’re comfortable and happy, seriously look no further. Thank you so much! See ya soon!
You know when you need someone to save your hair? I went here for that and it's going to take some work with all the years of processing I've done to it, but I left SUPER happy with our first session. My ends have been breaking off for months and Devon gave me a really awesome cut without having to affect how the length looks, and Rachael had some cool ideas for what I can do when I'm ready to start coloring again. Definitely going back - I think I finally found my salon!
I have been going to Volume for years. I have seen several different stylists and everyone is always so lovely. I have never left disappointed. They are all so friendly, kind, and skilled. Their website is super helpful in finding a stylist because it lists what each one specializes in. Or if you call, whoever answers is always incredibly friendly and willing to help figure out which stylist will suit your needs best. I work mostly with Rachel Martin and can't say enough incredible things about her skill with color. Took my hair from a nasty puke green to blonde and helped me get an awful at home quarantine purple back to a light blonde.
Brides beware — I would not recommend for wedding services. Not only did the salon not remember what was my wedding day vs. a bridal trial, they called the day of my wedding to move my appointment around to a time that wouldn’t work with the schedule I had set for the day. As anyone planning a wedding knows, the day is usually tightly scheduled, and asking to move my appointment up for makeup is just not acceptable, no matter the reason. I also didn’t understand because they said the makeup artist had an emergency health situation and could come in beforehand, but not during the scheduled time because she had to get a shot at the drs office. When I reminded them I already paid money for trials for this day, they told me “well, she’s losing money too. And she has weddings this weekend.” So, that’s more important than honoring the appointment I made, for my wedding day? They told me “it’s your choice” what I wanted to do and that they understand weddings are stressful about a million times. As if that’s acceptable to move my appointment around on such an important day and tell me it’s because she needs to do other jobs over the weekend. No refund. No credit for services. No I’m sorry. Having someone essentially cancel on you the day of your wedding, a few hours before they’re supposed to do your makeup, is a nightmare for most brides. To be fair, she does makeup great, but the salon and she were incredibly unprofessional. The salon especially was very disappointing to see how they handled this matter. Not reliable. Not worth the money.
I can't say enough nice things about this salon and their staff. It's a warm and comfortable space, the stylists are professional and excellent at what they do. My stylist Stephanie is highly skilled, talented, creative and has a focused attention to detail. Her goal is to provide services that make the client happy and satisfied. Rachel provides beautiful and rich color. You can't ask for more than this salon and the staff provide. Make an appointment!
