I am so disappointed. I heard great things about this place so I'm hoping I just had a rare experience but I also do not want this to happen to anyone else. I sat down and the young women doing my eyebrows ripped out a bunch of my EYELASHES while she was threading, didn't touch the middle of my forehead between my brows and when I looked in the mirror 1/4 of my eyebrow was gone on the right side. I know that she was new because someone was instructing her how to check out and have me pay. I leave for Hawaii tomorrow on a family trip where we will take a ton of photos and I am so upset I went here before the trip. So disappointing!
Improper management… I called first for an appointment and when I reached the place they were already booked. I would not rely on their service.
Having moved from Los Angeles, I've been hard pressed to find a good waxing place in PA. I've tried a few nice salons out, but there's waxes didn't cut it. This place is super low frills -- but fast, relatively painless, and good. The energy in the place made me feel as if some of my friends happened to be good at waxing and were taking care of me. Bonus: they quoted me at one price, but when they realized my actual area was smaller, they changed me half the quote!! So fair and cool.
I like their eyebrow threading service. As far as waxing goes though... let’s start with asking why it costs $10 more if you pay with credit card vs cash?! Also, the wax they use is pink for some reason and they apply it with a stick. I could also tell that it was bad quality wax and they could really improve their cleanliness and general hygiene procedures.
I called before I went I asked for tint and eyelash extensions. I got there all she did was thread my eyebrows. When I mentioned the tint and eyelashes she said she couldn’t do because one eyebrow was light but didn’t you just thread them. Anyway moving on to the lashes the other lady act like they didn’t do the because after that they wouldn’t speak English anymore. Horrible service and false advertising $13 for something my nail salon could’ve done for $6.
